HERE IS AN EXTRACT FROM THE PRESS RELEASE ON OUR WEB SITE:

Call to Christians to “cancel all leave” and prepare a welcome for the series, describing it as “a once-in-a-generation opportunity” to engage the whole nation in a public conversation about the Christian message. “This Easter the whole country will be talking about Jesus. Not about church politics or the finer points of theology, but about Jesus.”

Some nice pictures on the Holy Cross Parish Diary web page which has just been set up – I am ready to receive pictures and stories from your parishes and to set up your own diaries.

New addition to the web site is a NEW SECTION on Lent and Easter

– I have not quite finished it

– bigger than I imagined

– can’t resist mentioning that the drawing of the crucified Christ is by my Son Timothy – drawn when 17 years old.

Also the February edition of Portsmouth People is now on the web site – select Newsletters

Please let me know of any Lenten or Eastertide musical or dramatic performances coming off in your area, including Ecumenical ones .
