About the Artist

Tim Patrick is an aspiring young artsit with distinct foundations in the classical arts, having studied at both Charles Cecil Studio, Florence, and at Kingston University, London. This diverse mix of education, with flavours from the Renaissance and an exposure to the essence of metropolitan living, has led to an exciting and promising form of contemporary painting.

Whilst still in the early days of his career, his paintings already demonstrate much confidence of technique and sincerity of subject matter. Figurative narratives are given depth and atmosphere by elements of abstratction, delivering paintings which address the viewer through both pictoral and tactile surfaces of paint. His Catholic background has also provided much stimulus, with iconography and the concept of faith proving to play ever increasing roles in his work.  The selection of work presented here provides an insight into the embryonic stage of a promising new artist, with much hope for the future.
