Home Condition Reports
Although no longer a compulsory element of the Home
Information Pack, the Home Condition Report can provide
a useful sales tool for sellers or an alternative to an
independent survey for a buyer. As Licensed Home
Inspectors we can provide a Home Condition Report either
as a voluntary part of the Home Information Pack or as a
stand alone product for either a buyer or a seller.
Prices are dependant upon the size of the property and
if prepared as part of the Home Information Pack would
include the Energy Performance Certificate. Please feel

Energy Performance Certificates
As a compulsory element of the Home Information Pack an
Energy Performance Certificate will need to be provided
for all properties marketed on or after the 1st June
2007, but the regulations also state that any written or
electronic particulars prepared to market the property
must include or be accompanied by the energy and
environmental ratings. This means an Estate Agent cannot
prepare the sales particulars until the Energy
Performance Certificate has been carried out.
With the latest handheld PDA technology we have the
ability to upload the energy data ‘on site’ to avoid the
delays of having to return to the office to lodge the
report. This helps to achieve the earliest possible
marketing, making this an attractive service to both
property professionals or private individuals wanting to
ensure that there are no delays in marketing their
property.
As with the Home Condition Report, the cost does vary
depending upon the size of the property but with
efficient use of technology our aim is to keep the cost
competitive. |
We are also happy to consider other forms of inspection such
as pre-completion snagging reports for new build or schedules of
dilapidation which would be priced on an individual basis.
