Services to the Sick

The Parish provides a range of support services for members of the parish community who are sick or unable to attend Mass.

Emergency Contact

For those in need of help, support and/or a visit, the Parish will try to respond as quickly as possible. This can be for visits to those in hospital, sick at home or dying, or for those who just need to talk.

Ministers of Communion

A team of Ministers of Communion are on hand to visit the sick in their homes or at the many care homes in the area to administer Holy Communion. For more information or to request a home visit, please contact the parish office:

Hospital Chaplains

It is now more difficult for members of the clergy to request information regarding a parishioner's stay in hospital, including which ward you are in. This is now regarded as confidential information and will not readily be supplied to any caller without the specific permission of the patient. Also, staff on wards will no longer be allowed to say who is on their ward if people make a general enquiry. If you are admitted to hospital and would like a member of the Chaplaincy Team to visit you, please click here.
